J Shoes place Rebound, Babette, Twisted and Como on the the UK’s hottest young band, The Ting Tings. The Ting Tings are Jules de Martino and Katie White. Together Jules and Katie have configured a sound that represents the pure heart of British pop. Driven by personality, unstoppable momentum, friendship and the love of great pop music.

Their debut album “We Started Nothing” is rammed full of snappy choruses that trade off against angular guitar work, whipsmart drumming and a succession of programmed loops. The Ting Tings had a busy summer performing at all the major UK festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park, the itunes festival and the Reading and Leeds Festivals. They are now currently on their sell out UK tour road testing the comfort of J Shoes. http://www.thetingtings.com

Join J SHOES in its first collaboration with Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD this Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm at Rosenberg Gallery in the MICA Brown Center.

Three weeks ago, students from the fiber department at MICA chose five shoes out of J SHOES’ collection of half pairs. Their project: Could a contemporary shoe be transformed into an entirely different object with an entirely different purpose?

Join us in viewing the artwork and discovering the top three winners. Judging will take place earlier in the day by a panel of top judges: the MICA Fiber Department chair, Style Magazine Baltimore editor, US J SHOES Marketing Manager and J SHOES representatives. The winners will be announced during the gallery opening that evening. Cash prizes awarded.

Heading to Thailand for product forum 1: Fall 2009 design and development meetings.

The art, crafts and time @ the J SHOES factory is brilliant. More photographs posted within a week sharing product in development.

We had the pleasure of fitting the SKLAR brothers this past Friday. These guys are the bomb! Besides being hilarious comics – like who couldn’t forget their cameo on ENTOURAGE; they are big supporters of our business. (Great company to be keeping, ehh?)
Courtney fit them with shoes for their evening interviews in NYC. She is also helping custom cut footwear for their next venture….
Stay tuned, their next venture is hilarious. Oh yeah, keep an eye on their feet!

BOYDs PHILADELPHIA:
always referenced, never duplicated.

Sushi bar, 2nd floor?! Yes, that’s correct.

Best of all if you look closely you will notice a bamboo floor (custom pressed) cut pillars surrounding the perimeter made of reclaimed woods and yes, those iron railings are custom made.

Where else in the world?

Second floor – looking down at the front lobby.

How’s that for a customers first impression!
